Forbes! + Indie Booksellers + Amazon

It's been a busy week! An informative article about why Barbara wrote this is on Forbes.com.

Click Forbes.com to read it.

Volume 1 is now available for pre-order at independent bookstores.

or at Amazon.com.

Pre-order at Amazon.com

Meanwhile, Barbara is moving forward with Volume 2. We will soon be posting more pages from that and photos of her process.

We are expecting delivery of the first copies of Volume 1 very soon, and will begin inserting them in comic sleeves with acid-free backing cards for mailing to our subscribers. The copies ordered on Amazon or at bookstores will not have these sleeves--it's a thank-you bonus for our early fans. It's not too late to subscribe to our pre-publication offer for both volumes.  Just click the "Add to Cart" button in the right column in the desktop web view, or go to minsky.com.

half-wild ride, both crucial and rollicking."

Tweaking Volume 1, Moving Forward on Volume 2

The proof of volume 1 arrived yesterday, needed a few tweaks,
and is back to the printer for another proof.

Barbara's table: "Laying out the pages. Volume 2 is more fun because the dialogue is so juicy."

"The pink highlight is the narration (Mueller) the blue is dialogue and the pencil is things to look at again.
I  finally have a methodology."

What Happened Over the Weekend

As you saw Saturday, the first printed proof of volume 1 arrived. Barbara tweeted a photo and comment about it, and this happened:

As you might imagine, this caused a deluge of activity here, which is still going on.

If you want to see former Federal Prosecutor and TV legal analyst Joyce Vance in action, she will be in Washington this afternoon at 2:00 for the House Judiciary Committee hearing: Lessons from the Mueller Report: Presidential Obstruction and Other Crimes. You can watch it live on their web page:
https://judiciary.house.gov/legislation/hearings/lessons-mueller-report-presidential-obstruction-and-other-crimes

Former Nixon White House Counsel John Dean will also testify.

One of the many people commenting on the above post thought Joyce Vance was being snarky, and she responded:

First proof back from the printer!

Fast turnaround with rush service. This is the first uncorrected proof of volume 1. The quality is excellent. The cover has a matte laminate with a nice feel to it. That also makes it easy to keep clean. As a test I sprayed water on it and wiped it dry with a paper towel. We're going to make the margin between pages wider. Barbara is revising some drawings and making a few changes in text and dialog. Revised copy expected to go to the printer next week. Still on schedule for shipping vol. 1 in July!

You can read the entire current draft on this blog, starting here.

If you want the printed edition for yourself or as a gift, a pre-publication discount subscription  button is in the right column on the desktop view, or click here for more information, ordering, and links to see it on Twitter and Facebook.
